X-Factor Contestants Jedward visit Battersea Dogs & Cats Home
X-Factor’s Jedward (aka John and Edward Grimes) put on a hair-raising performance yesterday at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home for the launch of Scooby Doo! Mystery Mansion tour.
The pop duo and Battersea’s very own resident Scooby look-a-like Terry posed for press photos outside the Mystery Mansion, which will be touring the UK to celebrate the release of all things Scooby Doo!
While at Battersea Jedward sang Ghostbusters and Ice Ice Baby, two songs that shot them to fame in last year’s X-Factor.
A group of local school children attended the event and Battersea dog Terry, who is looking for a new home, got lots of attention from everyone.
Jedward, both big dog lovers, said: “We love dogs and are so excited to be here at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. It’s amazing they have helped so many dogs in the last 150 years. We’ve seen so many gorgeous dogs, especially Terry here who is looking for a home.”
Claire Horton, Battersea’s Chief Executive said: “Where better to launch the Scooby Doo! Mystery Mansion than the UK’s biggest and oldest rescue centre. Jedward had a great morning and loved learning what Battersea is all about.”
