Baby Killed by Labrador Puppy is Named
Police in Tulsa, USA have named the two-month old baby killed by a Labrador puppy as Zane Earles.
The child’s death is still being investigated and the official cause of death is still subject to confirmation although police did confirm that the youngsters was pronounced dead at the scene, such were the seriousness of the injuries suffered.
According to local reports, the boy’s mother (17) and grandmother were asleep in their bedrooms on another side of the house at the time when the incident occurred.
There were two dogs in the home at the time, a Labrador puppy and a Pug. Both were taken to a local animal shelter by police following the attack but only the Labrador was euthanised.
I honestly don’t believe that tiny dog did a thing to that baby.
I find this very strange. For any animal to kill a child, the child must have been screaming. So where were the guardians? Sleeping in another part of the house! NO DOG should be left alone with a baby or child no matter what age, breed, etc. This type of owner and parent have a lot to answer for. They should be prosecuted for allowing this terrible incident to happen. Poor baby.
I think they euthanized the puppy prematurely, i think that after the autopsy of the infant , we may get a different cause of death. I suspect we will be watching court tv when the parents are put on trail..
It’s strange to read this, as labrador retriever is a good family dog and loves children. But any how, they should not be left
un attended with very small children. Accidently, in curiosity
they may hurt them.
if this is the same story as i have previously read about the mother was unconscious whilst intoxicated on drugs and the baby was left in one of those baby bouncers that hang on the door frame for at least an hour. the pup probably thought it was a game to bite the squeaking bouncy toy. the mother needs shooting young or not. i was a mum at 18 and i had more sence!
