A 3-month old puppy in training to become a police dog has been stolen from a back garden in the West Midlands

Xamm, a black German Shephered, was taken from the property in Stourbridged on Wednesday 16th July.

The pup was being looked after by the West Mids police force socialisation team and was wearing a collar and tag identifying her as a police dog/police property.

Insp Stuart Manley, “All of us at the dog unit, and the family who were looking after Xamm, are upset by this incident.

“She is a lovely puppy who has just come into our training programme.

“We are primarily concerned about having the dog returned as she needs scheduled veterinary treatment, and appeal to anyone who knows of her whereabouts to get in contact.”
