this story is unbelievable,responsible owners and their dogs are put through hell by this flawed dda. In the north of Ireland recently a responsible animal charity’s dogs were seized n held in confinement for twenty months until the courts concluded that the dogs were ‘type’ and had to be pts/ the charity debated the dog’s ‘type’ but unfortunately after winning an initial court case ruling the dogs were not pit bull type this was overturned in an appeal court. Going of topic a bit there poss but i just listen in disbelief to what goes on in enforcing this law. The uspca in n.ireland are a joke, there inspectors regularly take the stand in courts over here to give evidence that family pets are pitbull types and should be destroyed, society for protection of animals i think not

makes you despair,seems to me the more responsible you are, the harder you are dealt with, if the goverment are serious about dealing with dog legislation, why dont they talk to the people who know dogs and not just rely on single minded charities like the RSPCA and the useless kennel club,
