Thanks in no small part to an article written by Alison Green right here on DogMagazine.net, the National Dog Warden Association has been approached by the Scottish Parliament and asked whether it’s draft format report ‘The Revision of United Kingdom Legislation With Regard To The Control Of Dangerous dog’s’ written by Cuthbert Jackson could be placed in the Scottish Parliament’s Information Centre.
This facility enables any Member of the Scottish Parliament to access information so placed there when they are researching and debating legislation placed before them
The NDWA report was sent as part of a further submission relating to the consultation period for the proposed legislation being introduced by Alex McNeil MSP the Control of Dogs (Scotland) Bill.
K9 Magazine, via DogMagazine.net reported exclusively on the proposed legislation and a Alex Neil MSP actually took the time to contribute to the public debate right here.
It is refreshing that a sovereign government of the United Kingdom has requested access to this document from an association whose members deal with dangerous dogs and the issues and fall out from dangerous dogs in their working lives.
