Innocent dogs have died. Innocent dogs will continue to die. We should make a noise, make an impression on people, authorities and pretty much anyone who is willing to listen – this Bad, Stupid, Law has GOT to GO!
There are four dogs currently on the list of Prohibited Dogs, section 1.
The Pit Bull Terrier
The Japanese Tosa
The Dogo Argentino
The Fila Brasileiro
We firmly believe that no dog should be on this list, no dog is dangerous with the right owner. The law is flawed, this is about ‘type’ which list specific characteristics . Could your dog be next ? Rottweiler? Bull Mastiff? Chihuahua? Please support our campaign and sign the petition … thank you for all your support. It really can make a difference.

Shame on any government which fails to abolish a breed specific legislation.
The hundreds who have all been killed or attacked by specific breeds like staffs, pit bulls, rockwellers and the bull mastiff have the last word in how the dangerous dogs act should be addressed, not some commity who just wants to hide the escalating problem with breed specific dogs under the carpet. The problem is breed specific and there needs to be 3 other very dangerous dogs added to that list…Staffs, Rockwellers and Bull Mastiffs.
The parks everywhere in London are infested with these bully breeds and their bully owners. One cannot feel safe with these weapons on leads in your face.
The problem has gotten out of hand and because the govermment never really inforced the dangerous dogs act by arresting every pit bull in sight…now we have blood on our hands.
My cocker spaniel was very badly savaged by a staffordshire bull terrier and left with terrible injuries, she had to have surgery and was lucky to have survived the attack.
Any dog can breed can be dangerous but certain breeds – when they attack – are very dangerous indeed and can kill other dogs and even people (I have not heard of anyone being badly mauled or killed by a spaniel) – there is a particular issue with ceratin breeds, including staffs, – so I think breed type should be taken into account. Maybe staffs, mastiffs and akitas should be added to the 4 existing categories – as one person has already suggested.
Also, there needs to be a new law to take into account dog on dog attacks by any breed.
Most people that choose these dangerous breeds appear to be complete morons. No resposnsible person would choose an aggresive breed. So I think it is a contradiction to claim that anyone who owns one of these danagerous breeds is responsible, in my opinion they are not.
Beware of people who are engaged by UK MAIL as some people doing their delivering are claimed not to be employed by them. One such man entered my property and was given a warning bruise before I could get to him .It cost me £650 00. When I contacted UK MAIL to remind them that the letter box for postal mail etc is made beyond the gate they claimed no recognition of the man yet he delivered a parcel from Amazon through their company..I have 2 dogs one is 14 years old , active but deaf and blind. The other is anAlsatian. Protective but not agressive. I think the rules should apply as it does in some European countries. If someone blatantly enters your property it should be at their risk. I leave my back doors open for the dogs. If the dog did not stop this UK MAIL stranger he would have entered into the main house.
