which collars do you use, i have a similar problem with my two dogs not recalling and chasing sheep, does your collar self activate when the dog stays too far?

have I got this right? the Welsh assembly ban electric training collars on the grounds that they are cruel and inhumane. yet the same Welsh assembly fully backs a plan to open a giant halal slaughterhouse in South Wales? The hypocrisy of this is breathtaking. These people aren’t remotely interested in animal welfare,this is about power pure and simple.

this is an absolute joke.
i first fitted my dog with a collar to stop him roaming and chasing sheep. within a day he stayed within our boundaries, the alternative was for him to be shot by a farmer who warned us he was going to kill him on site if on his land never mind near his sheep.
the shock is not powerful from these collars as i have tested it on myself.
i am sure the dog would rather have an electronic collar fitted than a gaping shotgun wound with half of his guts hanging out.
i have recently re homed a bitch, within 1 week of no collar fitted she roamed on to the main road and got run over at a cost of £300 vet bills stress and almost death,
i fitted a collar and she has not left my property since.
result of fitting both dogs with these harmless collars- they are both alive ,well and very contented.
result of no collars will certaintly lead to injury or death due to being shot or injured.
this country is a joke and these idiots in power want to wake up before it is too late.
if i had no family i would be gone by now to another part of the world where common sense prevails.

banning “use by the police using tasers”

That should be allowed I have to say, our Police forces put them selves in dangerous situations to help PEOPLE, if they have to protect them selves and others from being injured, using a taser on a dangerous dog is the very least they should be allowed to do!!!
Nanny state gone mad!
