A Police Dog Handler's priority is surely his Dog/s. PC Johnson should be banned from keeping animals FOREVER. He is a Dog Professional and hence should be more accountable for the treatment of his dogs than "Joe Public". What message does this give out to the masses and how can the RSPCA & CPS expect to take other lesser trained people to court for animal neglect/cruelty? I FIND THIS OUTCOME DISGUSTING!!!
A Police Dog Handler’s priority is surely his Dog/s. PC Johnson should be banned from keeping animals FOREVER. He is a Dog Professional and hence should be more accountable for the treatment of his dogs than “Joe Public”. He should have been given 250 hrs community service with the RSPCA or similar, to make some restitution. He should also not be allowed to keep animals again. He seems to have played the mental health card well, but if he was that ill surely he should not have been at work? It is a disgraceful outcome - effectively not a punishment at all.
