Array of prizes up for grabs in charity raffle

A host of fantastic prizes including tickets to the British Open Golf Championships are up for grabs in a raffle to benefit the Animal Cancer Trust in its effort to fund the fight against cancer in our pets.

Ticket holders could win one of these great prizes in the raffle which will take place on 27th June 2008:

* 2 tickets to British Open Golf Championships, Royal Birkdale (Saturday 19 July)
* 2 tickets to BBC Good Food Show
* 2 tickets to Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials (Thursday 4 September)
* Family ticket to Great Yorkshire Show (8-10 July 2008 or 2009 show)
* 2 tickets to final day of Crufts 2009 and VIP lunch
* 6 months free Royal Canin food for one cat or one dog (excludes Clinical Diet)
* 2 tickets to visit Belvoir Castle and lunch
* 2 tickets to Olympia, The London International Horse Show (Thursday 18 December)
* 1 Royal Canin Canine Encyclopaedia
* 1 Royal Canin Feline Encyclopaedia
* Visit for two people to Kennel Club and lunch

Through fundraising activity such as the raffle the charity aims to support education and research into the latest cancer treatments and help raise awareness of the disease in our pets.

Karen Pearson, Chief Executive, The Animal Cancer Trust says, “We are delighted to be able to offer these fantastic prizes to those that take part in the raffle, and it’s a great opportunity to raise awareness of the charity and its work.

“We are particularly grateful to all of our prize draw sponsors for providing such a generous selection of prizes.”

Tickets for the raffle are available until 20th June 2008 at £1 each from the Animal Cancer Trust administration desk. Call 08701 644225 or email info@animalcancertrust.org.uk. Winners will be notified by post and results published on the Animal Cancer Trust website, www.animalcancertrust.org.uk.
