The East Anglian Game & Country Fair in Association with The Eastern Daily Press,Norfolk Showground, Norwich. April 24th & 25th 2010.

“The perfect day” with World class events and attractions in an action packed weekend. We are offering something for the whole family with the opportunity to get involved and ‘have a go’ at a range of activities from Clay Shooting to Mountainboarding. So Bring your family, your friends and your dog!

For man’s best friend we have the Gun Dog Scurry with the Mid Norfolk Gun Dog Club, Dog Agility and Jumping competitions and ‘have a go’ arenas. Enter your pet into the Pet Dog Show or the ever popular Terrier racing (open to all breeds) and the Terrier & Lurcher Show on the Sunday starts at 11am. This will be a qualifier for all major championships as well as the East Anglian Championship, (visit www.ukgamefair.co.uk for more info)

Jumping Dogs: Big Air® is the original & still most popular DockDogs discipline from the USA, because people like to compete & have something fun to do with their dog which doesn’t require lots of time and training. So a DockDogs event in the UK is part of a much larger picture, it presents an unmissable opportunity to become the British Champion in one of the fastest growing & most exciting canine water sports in the world. Visit www.ukgamefair.co.uk for more info.

Mountainboarding!

MBS Europe bring the excitement of Freestyle Mountainboarding to you! No longer do you need a hill to see the best mountainboarders in action. The MBS Europe Pro Team perform spins and flip tricks over a Land Rover dropping in off the trailer from a height of 20ft! ‘The show brings excitement and is guaranteed to wow the crowds offering the best entertainment available’. They will also be running ‘hire & ride’ sessions where you can have a go at mountainboarding, an experience not to be missed! (Visit www.ukgamefair.co.uk for more info)

‘Every Horse Deserves a Chance’ We are delighted that Gary Witheford the ‘Horse Whisperer’ is returning to the Game Fair in 2010. No matter what problem a horse brings with it, there is always a good possibility of change and the chance of a better life for the horse and therefore for the owner. Gary will be holding demonstrations over the weekend and accepting enquiries from the public for horses to be brought to the show and worked on by him, for further information please visit www.ukgamefair.co.uk.

At the 2009 show Gary spent lots of time talking to visitors, and to the horse owners that brought their ‘problem’ horses to the show to be worked on by him. Star of the Show was, in fact, NOT Gary but Kate, the little girl with her ‘naughty’ pony, Tina! She was the lucky winner of our ‘win a free clinic session 2009’ competition and won the chance to bring her pony to the show for Gary to work with her. Tina was generally difficult to handle and tended to bite and demand treats in order to let Kate catch her. Gary spent time teaching Kate and her mother techniques to help with these issues.

Lets Get Cooking! Food Writer and Cook Mary Kemp will be hosting the Cookery Theatre again in 2010 and we have a great line up of chefs including ITV’s Coastal Kitchen Master Chef Chris Coubrough, Franck Pontais, Aaron Smith (Hoste Arms, Burnham Market) and Steve Thorpe, (Head of City College Hotel School). (Visit www.ukgamefair.co.uk for the full line up).

Join the John Lewis fashion advisors at the Game and Country Fair for Fashion workshops and beauty demonstrations. Their advisors will be showcasing their latest Spring trends and will show you how to adapt your outfit from day to night by adding those all important Must have accessories.

John Bidwell is a former British team captain and six times World FITASC Clay Pigeon Shooting Champion. John will demonstrate his prowess in the Main Arena each day, with a semi-automatic and

the hip and behind the back to show eye to hand

coordination.
