I have recently purchased a rotto and she is as sweet as anything, I already have two boarder collies one female and male and a cat, they all get on together and there is a rank within their pack, I being the pack leader. A dog does not normally attack without being provoke and I have watch a number of children and teenages, teasing dogs and they think it is funny. The kids make growling sounds at the dogs and barking noises, if I was a dog I would bite them too. Since I can remember, I have always had dogs and never have my dogs ever bitten anyone without warning as I make sure that anyone coming into my house shows respect for my dogs as well. I am so looking forward to my Sasha growing up and joining in everything more. She is cheeky and loves her photos being taken, so now I have four vain animals. Education and respect for animals will stop these so called attacks.

is there any particular way of getting a rottweiler to stop attacking you, Since an owner that lives round the corner from me often looses his or it gets out on the front and it verry agressive and nearly got me on the back of the leg.

and the dog had bit the back of someones leg before but was not put down because the wner payed the guy money if he didnt take it to court

"Rottweiler attacks child for no reason, without warning. That is true. It happened at my friend house. They must be properly trained."

Okay so by your reasoning, which I accept, about training. Your friend was one of the many bad owners who didn't train or possibly socialise their dog. Whose fault is it!
