He is the one who decided to start drinking! good job we dont all take the easy way out when we have a few problems! Jail him okay, but tell the other prisoners what he has done, that should sort out any short sentence Mr Glazzard receives. Apart from the obvious danger to animals that this man poses, when this thing graduates to attacking and harming people, what can we say, he should be in a secure institution for those with mental health problems? Possibly being a bit general about this persons drink related issues but there is no excuse for this kind of disgraceful animal abuse. Protect animals and people by putting Mr Glazzard in a secure facility where they can get him off his drink addiction and perhaps teach him to respect all living things? So he has a drink problem? But, unfortunately it is symptomatic of the countries Criminal Justice? System which has been steadily eroded by the politicians, their advisors and the bean counters. The latest idea being guidance to the courts that any mitigating(?) factors such as drugs and drink be taken into account for sentencing. Anything to keep the scrotes out of prison. I despair.
