OMG y’all!!! I can’t believe that happened to you! I’m so glad nobody was seriously injured. I hope they find the a$$h0le that did that.

Geneva, There is no shortage of adoptable pets here. All our rescues are full of cute purebred dogs. Just look at http://www.petfinder.com.

These women must be unaware that since January 2009, it is illegal to sell a dog or cat in a pet store in LA unless it is over eight weeks of age and has been speutered. Which effectively will end sales of animals in pet stores here.
Indeed, our state is becoming so “humane” that soon there won’t be any dogs available, at any price, except those that are brought in from commercial breeders in other areas. Several shelters and rescue groups here have no adoptable dogs, and they import them from Mexico, Romania, Puerto Rico and China.

Thanks for reporting this story, unbelievable that animal activists that speak up for the voiceless were shot at. Please anyone who cares about animals and the abuse that takes place at puppy mills needs to show up next Saturday (if you live in So. Calif.)and support us, this is not O.K.
