Kiska was stolen from her owners vehicle on 15th August at Sainsbury’s car park, Chilshurst. The car was broken into and a satellite navigation- 2 bags of personal items were also taken along with Kiska a 2 year old tri coloured Fox Terrier Cross. She could easily be mistaken for a Jack Russell Terrier as she is crossed with a Parson Jack Russell.
Owner Jon Moss then started receiving calls stating that they had his dog. Photos were sent on a mobile to prove that the dog was in their possession. The caller demanded £500 for the return of Kiska but has stopped making contact with the owner and in a last quite unpleasant text message stated he had sold on the dog.
Kiska is micro chipped and spayed.
It is thought the dog could still be in the Chilsehurst area. Doglost and police are appealing to anyone who may know where this dog is to phone in complete confidence. They can phone doglost on 0844 800 3220 quoting ID 19487 crime stoppers on 0800 5550111 or their local police force quoting crime ref number 3318312/09

Come on Kent Police, find the thief and get Kiska back to her owner.
Surely as this is a crime, the police should be the lead, not a private company (see bottom of article)
What a horrible situation. I hope it is quickly resolved and Kiska gets back to her owner.
