I work for a company that does DNA Mixed breed testing for North American Dog breeds (dog-dna.com) My husband I got to run our pooch recently and were so shocked by the results. I have begun to learn that you can judge a dog based on its looks.

Have fun but don’t have your heart set on any particular breed.

I am not sure if this article is being viewed by UK or US dog owners but I am in the UK and have found a company based in the UK who offer this exact same test http://www.whatbreedismydog.co.uk. It sounds the same as this one, home test, cheek swab etc

We’ve used all the different places that do the canine DNA and we prefer the DNA Diagnostics Center. They are the ones you see on TV doing the human DNA but they also have a Pet DNA site http://www.vetdnacenter.com/

We have found them to be accurate and reasonably priced…and they just need a cheek swab sample.

I might have to try this. My dog has a red nose like a pit… but he also has webbed toes like a lab and loves to swim.

I would love to know which breed combinations he is for sure!
