Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan is Looking For a Spokesdog
Cesar Millan, star of the Emmy-nominated TV series Dog Whisperer, launched his first National Spokesdog Competition today, an online photo search for the next dog star. Anyone can enter their dog in the competition by visiting NationalSpokesDog.org and uploading their most memorable dog photo and describing why their dog should win. The Spokesdog will star with Cesar in the Millan Foundation’s 2010 Public Service Announcement campaign, promoting spaying and neutering and adopting homeless dogs from shelters.
Additional prizes include an autographed pair of LandRoller skates, and a $1000 shopping spree at PETCO. The Grand Prize Winner will be selected by a panel of celebrity judges, including Cesar Millan, producer Barry Josephson, rock diva Dayna Steele, and Pulitzer Prize finalist photographer David Woo.
Three finalists will also win in the categories of Best Pack, Most Outrageous Feat, Best Camera Face, and Most Hilarious Costume. Each category winner will also receive a shopping spree at PETCO along with a gift card to CesarMillanInc.com, and Cesar’s autographed Common Canine Misbehaviors DVD.
“We’ve created a contest to search for America’s top dogs and promote spaying and neutering of dogs at the same time. It’s a great way to highlight the love we have for our canine companions while addressing the most serious crisis facing animals in shelters today,” states Cesar.
To enter, visit NationalSpokesDog.org. For a suggested donation of $5, anyone can upload their favorite dog photo and bio. Then family, friends, and neighbors can donate $1 to vote for their favorite dog on-line. Entrants can also use Facebook to easily rally their connections in support of their dog.
This unique competition will benefit the Cesar and Ilusion Millan Foundation’s programs to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abused and abandoned dogs. For more information, visit MillanFoundation.org.

Cesar Millan understands dogs like no other human, he has studied canines from an early age, I have the utmost respect and love for this man who teaches people how to understand and treat animals with the respect they deserve. welcome to England Cesar.

great show poor q&a session
If you are reading this then you are either already a fan of Cesar Millan or want to see what the fuss is about. This show for the first 2 hours was excellent. Cesar lets you see the world through the eyes of a dog. How we humans and the world look to them. The show was a good blend of humour, psychology and education.
Now for the bad news – for those who paid the extra £60, yes £60! on top of the ticket price of £40 for the show; there wasa Q&A session afterwards. This turned a fabulous show into a big big disappointment. With over 100 hundred people there and only half an hour to respond to questions there were always going to be some whose questions would not make it. However after the first question whcih took 20 minutes to answer (for a non-dog owner!!) and a further 3 questions asked – this is what our £120 (2 tickets) was spent on. In actual fact the £120 was for a chance at asking a question and not a very good chance at that! To cap the evening off Cesar then raised everyones hope of getting their programme signed by directing them to the corner of the stage; but then left it to his stage hand to tell some very disappointed fans that actually this would not be the case. Come on Cesar you can do better than that. I would go again but next time I would only go to the main show and donate the extra portion of the ticket to a worthy dog cause. As this was not worthy if it.
