I would just like to comment on this sad story about these poor dogs falling seriously ill and some being fatal, my father sadly lost one of his dogs due to what could be the same poison, after a day fishing at a lake near his home his 2 dogs fell ill, one seriously, within 24 hours the poor little thing had died, fortunatley the other one survived but was showing signs of liver and kidney damage but is getting better by the day due to the care he recieved from the vets. they both started vomiting at the same time but the smallest dog did not stand a chance, his liver and kidneys were failing fast and his body temperture was dropping rapidly he did not stand a chance. Surely this pond if that was the cause should be checked just like any other pond or lake and warnings to pet owners put up to warn owners of the dangers of this horrible poison.
