Wow! what a line up, this should be a really good conference, it has a varied cross section of speakers and topics to be covered.

    Wow! Exactly Arthur….

It has been a long while since I’ve been to an NDWA conference. Looking at the line up on http://www.ndwa.co.uk I think I will be booking myself on both days.

What has happened to the NDWA this year? – the whole conference and seminar line up has become something of interest, it seems extremely well organised and on topic on a whole range of issues. I like the fact that there is such a wide range of speakers from across the Animal welfare & control profession.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but is this not the first time that NDWA has been able to get the likes of the Kennel Club & Dogs Trust to attend the NDWA conference? I am particularly keen to note that this is also the first time that I recall the NDWA having CPD hours available.

I am really looking forward to the lively debates that will ensue given the line up & the topics.

Long may the NDWA continue in this professional approach – they certainly have become more professional in their organisation of their annual conference. Well done is all I can say to the NDWA for having such a wide and varied range of speakers.

    Hi Thomas,

Thank you for your very kind observations & comments regarding the organisation of this years NDWA conference and seminar.

I have been co-opted by the NDWA committee this year as the Conference & Event Co-ordinator. Its always nice to hear positive feedback. I do hope that you will be booking your place at Conference. I shall be there – do make sure you introduce yourself to me at the event in Birmingham.

    Many Thanks

    Iris,

You’re very welcome – I’m sure I’m not the only one to have noticed how much more professional NDWA is becoming! Its good to see that the other bodies out there are now taking notice of the only body to represent the professional role of dog warden.

Will make sure I introduce myself

    What a fab line-up!

How did you manage to get the KC to agree to talk about how they aim to improve the health standards in Breeds?

I am impressed at the quality of the line up, I was in two minds as to whether to book my place when I first saw the conference advertised. I shall definitely be booking my place.

NDWA does seem much more professional and right on track with improving the profile of Dog Wardens, especially with the line up planned.
