Does it really matter? The dog is not being harmed nor is he in pain. There are far more important things to get ones knickers in a twist about.

Great but why do people think it is acceptable to dress dogs up in silly outfits? In my mind it ridicules the animal and is abusive – they werten’t designed to wear clothes! Jack Russells certainly are not fashion accessories!

Well done John Barrowman, you will not regret getting ‘Captain Jack’. I have a Jack Russell,and he has a fantastic personality, and is the love of my life. I hope Captain has a great life with John.

i work at the pound that captain jack was rehomed from, hes gone to a lovely home and i think john will spoil him. thanx john rehomeing a stray.

I love the fact that John’s a big supporter of various dog shelters, such as Cardiff Dogs Home. When he talks about responsible dog ownership, I think about how part of that is knowing when you aren’t able to take care of a dog and finding people who can, such as Cardiff Dogs Home, or Dogs Trust. Hopefully, more dogs will be adopted now that the Dogs Home has the new facilities it does. Maybe this will help other dog shelters get the funding and services they need to keep their doors open and to help lost, abandoned, and neglected dogs.
