while i applaud any organisation that rehomes pets. i would like to point out that iams, ukanuba, and science plan were all linked to a laboratory that was testing the effect of thier food on dogs muscles. i saw horrendous video footage of about 8 labradores with large chunks cut out of thier sides layed out on the floor. one was lifting its head and kept looking at the wound. those pictures will always haunt me.
i was so incensed that i wrote to the makers, only to be told, that they had no idea that this lab was cutting these poor dogs up, and had disasociated themselves from the laboratory in question. when i responded that this was all by the by as they are all owned by proctor and gamble(one of the biggest and most evilest multination animal testing organisations) i recieved no reply.
