58% of Dog Lovers Think Michael Vick Should Not Play Again

An electronic survey carried out by K9 Magazine has found that more than half of all dog lovers questioned believe Michael Vick should not have been reinstated with the NFL (he recently signed a lucrative contract with the Philadelphia Eagles).

The K9 Magazine survey, conducted by email, gained 1,092 responses and the verdict on Vick was resounding.

58% thought he should not be offered a professional contract in the NFL ever again

19% thought he should be allowed to resume his career AFTER he had carried out visible work to promote animal welfare causes

23% thought he had served his time and should be allowed to resume his career where he left off

Michael Vick was jailed in 2008 after being heavily involved in a dog fighting ring.
