Face Of Nottinghamshire Dog Death PC Revealed
The name and face of the officer at the centre of the RSPCA cruelty case, arising from the death of two Police dogs left in a hot car in Nottinghamshire, has been revealed for the first time.
PC Mark Johnson is the officer accused of being responsible for the death of two police dogs – an 18-month old named Jay-Jay and a 10-year old called Jet – after leaving them trapped in a car on a swelteringly hot summer day in June.

The identity of the officer was passed to the Daily Mail by German Shepherd Rescue and a picture of the accused Johnson appears in today’s newspaper on on their website, here.

Good a result. I cannot for the life of me see how they could not prosecute.
A stupid, thoughtless, unnecessary act which resulted in the deaths of two beautiful dogs.
Shame and utter contempt was brought on the entire dog section by this officer who was in charge of the dogs.
These dogs gave care and protection to this officer and the general public in the course of duty.
A terrible tragedy that the same care was not given to them.
RIP boys you will never be forgotten.
