One of the problems which needs to be addressed is the pet food industry and the vets who are being 'educated' by these companies. Food packed with carbohydrates (particularly corn) IS going to cause obesity, diabetes and other conditions to an animal who is biologically a carnivore. For those who scream "but dogs are omnivores" check the dentition of the dog and then check out your animal physiology.

Dr. Karen Becker also has a few more video's available on the problems with food.
