I for one would be the type of person to help any dog that came my way, but at the same time, certain countries have certain views on dogs and I can well imagine there was quite an uproar at Amys Dog rescue she had set up. As good as her intentions may have been, for the dogs own benefit she should have given them some anti flea treatment if she had the intention of keeping them. I think you could get easily out of your depth in a situation like that, rescue one and you'll end up trying to rescue them all! and to be honest, in countires where street dogs are rife, most of the time the dogs are pretty happy with themseleves! although that then raises the question of neutering etc.......its a tough on to answer for anyone with dog welfare being of foremost importance. A ban on her owning dogs is pretty harsh, a ban from taking in street dogs to an apartment yes, but not a life ban on ownership! Im not sure what to say really!
