Jail Sentence Handed Down to ‘Nazi’ Dog Trainer
A German man has been given a jail term for teach his cross breed GSD to perform a Nazi salute on command.
The dog, named ‘Adolf’, was trained by owner Roland ‘T’ to raise his paw sharply when given the command ‘Heil Hitler, mimicking the salute given by members of the 3rd Reich .
The dog’s owner even boasted of the trick he’d taught Adolf to local Police. Performing a Nazi salute is outlawed in Germany.
The dog is now in a Berlin animal shelter as his owner serves out 5 months in jail.
Staff at the shelter are working with the dog to re-train the ‘salute’ into a all together more friendly ‘shake a paw’ greeting.
Roland, 58, may not get the dog back from the shelter upon his release. He is reported to have been planning to have the dog put to sleep on the anniversary of Hitler’s suicide.
Why not change the command trigger to ‘Yo give me five dude!’
Also Mr ‘T’ needs locking up as he seems to possibly have some sort of mental health issue.
Perhaps Mr T needs to consider changing his name to ‘Herr Raising’ after doing such a crazy thing, everyone knows that nazi salutes and phrases are outlawed in Germany, so what was he thinking…..dumkopf
