Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan Talks to K9 Magazine About Breed Specific Legislaiton
He’s the world’s most recognised dog trainer, star of screen and best selling author, The Dog Whisperer, Cesar Millan is known to millions. He has spoken exclusively to K9 Magazine about a number of key canine issues, including Britain’s controversial breed specific legislation, Cesar- like most supporters of animals – is NOT a fan…

In our exclusive discussion with the Dog Whisperer we touched on issues such as the best piece of dog training advice he’s ever received and his thoughts on what he considers to be the most crucial element in teaching a dog to be well behaved.
We also asked for his views on Britain’s infamous 1991 Dangerous Dogs Act which would make dog’s such as Cesar’s own much loved pet, ‘Daddy’ illegal – possibly dead – in the UK.
Cesar told us:
“I have taken in many Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, and German Shepherds that have developed aggression because of abuse or neglect.
Many of them were at risk for euthanasia, but today they are well-behaved and living together in a pack. I firmly believe that it’s the owner, not the breed.”

Couldn’t agree more.
I spend twice as much time training the owner as the dog. Dogs are smart!
His critics should turn their attention to puppy farms and irresponsible breeders.
Cesar has dog welfare at heart.

I am very dissapinted at the way I have been treated by the Ceasar Millan Tour. I had a confirmation letter that my Bull dog puppy would be used by the show and by Ceasar on stage and the evening before the show they have informed me that they won’t be needing my puppy after all – even though I had cancelled a holiday to Florida so that the puppy would be available for the show and they knew that. It is absolutely disgusing they way it has been handled, they are using a different puppy instead as they think it will be more lievely on the stage, they have not even met my puppy who is very lively and friendly! IM DISGUSTED!!!!!!!!!
