Big Dog Litter Born to Irish Setter
November 3, 2007 by Freelance Writers
Testing times for two dogs as they set aside cultural differences to share parenting duties to help rear a large litter of Irish Setter puppies

Madyson and Liliana have teamed together despite one being an Irish Setter and one being a Setter of the English variety to help raise a demanding set of 15 puppy mouthes.
Liliana has become a surrogate mum to the pups as Madyson struggled to keep the hungry pups well fed and looked after.
The English Setter even began producing milk for her adopted pups, sharing the burden of motherhood with the exhausted Madyson.
Owner Julie Murray is quoted:
“I was amazed. Liliana wasn’t even pregnant. I’ve been breeding dogs 30 years and never seen anything like it.”
