Crufts Report Wed 8 March 2006

We’ve been to the NEC today and everything is being set up in readiness for the show – the newest feature appears to be a brand new TV studio, so expect the TV coverage to have a new backdrop.

Today’s Crufts story features ‘the latest betting’ for Crufts 2006 which sees ‘a Terrier’ installed as the favourite for the event but the shock news is that a toy breed could also be in the running on the basis that:

“Toy breeds are very fashionable at the moment, with celebrities such as Paris Hilton unable to leave the house without them, but I am not so sure that the professional judges will take this into account when the winner is announced,” said Hills spokesman Rupert Adams.

K9 Magazine advises not to part with any cash until some dogs have actually turned up and been judged!!! Another hot tip, don’t base any betting on what Paris Hilton may or may not be doting on at any given moment in time.
