Burns Suppers Every Night for Scottish Homeless Animals
Every night will be Burns Night for hundreds of abandoned and homeless animals thanks to Burns Pet Nutrition Limited.
Burns is donating over £50,000 worth of pet food to the Scottish SPCA (SSPCA) – enough to feed all the dogs in the care of the animal welfare charity for a whole year.
The special pet food partnership was launched in Edinburgh on the day Scotland celebrated its national bard, Rabbie Burns. The deal also provides the SSPCA with big savings on Burns Pet Nutrition’s high-quality and holistic products throughout the term of the agreement.
John Burns, a Vet and Director of Burns said “Burns is delighted to support the work of the Scottish SPCA because animal welfare is our highest priority” continuing, John said “This partnership will provide the finest nutrition to complement the quality of care given by the Scottish SPCA”
The SSPCA’s Sarah-Jane Friedman said “We are extremely pleased to have formed a new partnership with Burns Pet Nutrition and we are looking forward to enjoying a long and mutually beneficial relationship with this leading pet food specialist”.
“The cost of feeding more than 12,000 unwanted and unloved animals every year is significant so this food, along with the vital donations we receive from our supporters, is much needed and gratefully received”.
