Personally I don't think it will make a difference at all. The Kennel Council are fools, this was their chance to make health testing compulsory but instead they change the standard, idiots!!!! Its not going to make our breed any healthier, this unfortunately lies in the hands of the breeders. Those breeders who are just wanting to line their pockets (there are many) will continue to breed with dogs with entropian, ectropian, luxating patella, breathing problems etc etc regardless of what the standard says. If that is the case, why are they looking for another broadcaster, surely they could have had a meeting and patched things up?
