I immensely enjoyed your article on dogs & doors. Perhaps we can extrapolate your theory to people too? A Rottie also owns me, so I can empathize with your lack of privacy. Doors... are stupid structures which obscure the view & prevent access to areas of entitlement. Yes, I share your pain after being thwacked on the head by a swinging toy. I share your embarrassment at being stared at whilst bathing & doing what comes naturally. I share your concern having to pay to replace broken windows - many! Gambit has trained me well. He loves sitting on my lap whilst he watches TV. I feel honored. He is also very particular about his dental health. He won't touch the toilet brush toothbrush after 3 months use. It must be replaced! Did I mention that I have a full time carpenter in my employ to repair/replace shredded wooden doors, well, it feels that way. I enjoyed sharing... but have to go now. Gambit wants to watch TV.

This is hilarious! I love your writing....I could see Chloe & Mia perfectly. Mia's very funny. My dog is in between your two. She's not as polite as Chloe, but doesn't rhino charge doors like Mia!
