Why hold discussion here where ahrdly anyone reads the pasots? Go to Our Dogs or Dogs World and join the debates with people who are lifetime dog owners.

Hi Elaine,

Like Our Dogs and Dog World are representative of ‘dogdom’ in general and not just specialist and elitist publications for show dogs and breeders?

Give me K9 Magazine and Dogs Today (to name just two)….any day if you want real dog news and issues.

Are ‘life time dog owners’ only those who have pedigree dogs or are associated with the Kennel Club, your sounding a bit breed specific!

Hows that for holding a discussion?

what a load of crap from K9 Magazine ,you lot really need to get a life and start appreciating what the ckcs club has actually done ,has for margaret carter ,well i think everything has been said ,by many people ,shes not wanted in the breeed ,if it was up to carter there would be no cavaliers,so all you twisted minds out there just geta life ,youa ll talk a load of Bu?? What an outstanding example of a CKCS breed club supporter, as ‘F’ writes it does ‘just about sum these people up in as nutshell’

We are supposed to be non judgemental and give people the benefit of the doubt etc, but ‘ja’ and the CKCS Club seem to have judged Margaret Carter with no problem!

This will never go away and it drags more and more people into the fray!

I fail to see the need for you to question the fact that the cavalier club contacted the KC for confirmation of the statement issued/ There has been so much mis-information flying around over the last few weeks in particular the reason the members called for an SGM
I find it interesting that you have not posted the club’s response to the KC’s “concern” re the SGM
nor that the Club has the KCs continued support.

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel club will never be able to spin their way out of it. With each pathetic attempt they dig themselves deeper. Hopefully at least a small majority of the ringleaders will decide to admit their mistakes and move forward on health issues as the Kennel Club is doing. Hopefully, but I won’t hold my breath until it happens….
